Over 104 acres, 75 of which has some of the Annapolis Valley's best farm land available. The land currently has 42 acres of spring wheat, all headed out, and 33 acres of soybeans, which will be harvested by the current owners. Worth noting - the soil type for the fields is known as 'Castley Soils', which are organic soils that have developed on fibric sphagnum peat over mesic sedge peat. Typically these soils have 80-100 cm of peat over mineral soils. The water table for this type is at or just below the soil surface and without proper drainage the soils remain saturated for most of the year.
